2019 Les Roches Blanches Muscadet Sèvre et Maine

Sun, Apr 23, 23

2019 Les Roches Blanches Muscadet Sèvre et Maine from the Loire Valley, is a staff favorite (and the perfect bottle of wine for those thinking outside of the Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay box.)

The grape here is 100% Melon de Bourgogne and is grown in quartz and granite rich soils. The nose is incredible and offers Persian lime, honeydew melon, quince, floral notes and a nuance of thyme and jasmine green tea. The mouthfeel is complex and rich offering a juicy beam of citrus, melon, jasmine green tea, and vibrant herbal notes on the juicy finish. This would be the perfect pairing for steamed mussels in a saffron scented broth. An amazing value.
