A great Super-Tuscan wine at a pocket friendly price!

At Bevy’s Liquor World we love the wines of Italy. The wines are amongst the most food friendly available on the market, always complimenting the food being served instead taking center stage on the table. Tuscan wines are near and dear to me, and we are always searching for great wines to bring to you at a great price. This part of Italy is known for the beauty of its countryside, the richness of the historical sites, and the traditional art of winemaking.

The Collezione Collesano is a portfolio of wineries owned by the Castellani family for over 100 years. 2018 Tenuta di Burchino Toscana is in the store and we are thrilled to introduce you to this wine. Produced with grapes from their San Martino, Poggiarelli and Boccanera vineyards. The grapes are carefully selected and vinified at controlled temperatures to maintain all the aromas, freshness and the great minerality that distinguishes all the wines from the Burchino estate. 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% *other varieties. The bouquet is very characteristic with cherries, plums, fresh cut herbs, spices and a hint of floral aromas. The mouthfeel is supple and round with a beam of bright raspberries, cherries, violet candy and a hint of vanilla bean and fennel notes wrapped around a juicy structure. This is the perfect bottle for classic Italian fare or grilled meats alfresco.
