A phenomenal Italian Pinot Noir! Fri, Feb 09, 24 At Bevy's Liquor World, we taste hundreds of wines a year to handpick the best ones for your table. The J. Hofstätter wines are fast becoming favorites of our staff and customers alike. We are having great success with the Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Lagrein, and now I have a feeling that the Pinot Nero from Trentino-Alto Adige will also be a huge hit. 2022 J. Hofstätter Meczan Blauburgunder Pinot Nero is quite a mouthful, but don't be intimidated, as this is that magical grape from Burgundy, France called Pinot Noir that made its way to this incredible part of Italy. This region is named for the Dolomite mountains. This wine thrilled us when we tasted it! Bright ruby, with aromas of wild bramble fruits, cherry confiture, and rose petals with nuances of fresh Italian herbs. The mouthfeel is silky, and mineral driven with a wave of plush strawberry, cherry, blood orange zest and pink peppercorn on the structured finish. A phenomenal Italian Pinot Noir. ~Michael Rodriguez, Wine Specialist By Michael Rodriguez
