Another Perfect Summer Red!

Thu, Aug 24, 23

At Bevy's Liquor World, we pride ourselves in searching for smaller, family owned wineries. Derby Wines Estates was established in 1998 by Pam and Ray Derby when they purchased 632 acres of land on the coast in San Simeon. The wines have gone from strength to strength with every passing vintage and they can make very structured wines that sommeliers would love for a wine list and also very modernist "fruit bomb" wines that are unapologetically bold.

Derby Wine Estates Red Wine Paso Robles is also known as "The Hat Wine". Crafted from 100% estate fruit as a multi-vintage Zinfandel dominated blend with small amounts of cinsaut and counoise. Lush and forward with aromas of raspberries, blackberries, plum jam, savory herbs and a touch of vanilla. The mouthfeel packs a wallop of fruit that is delicious and textural in its exuberance. This is a fun everyday drinking wine, that is chock full of quality. This would pair well with all your summer meals. Fans of The Prisoner or Meiomi Red Blend would love this.
