Day 'Lemonade' Rosé

Wed, Feb 21, 24

Our Wine of the Week selection, Day 'Lemonade' Rosé, is inspired by the warm weather this week.

Once we get a taste of 60-degree weather, our attention starts shifting to some of our favorite rosé wines. We like this bright pinot noir/grenache based rose for its raspberry and strawberry notes and vivacious acidity. Every sip begs another.

Founded by winemaker and owner Brianne Day in the 2012 vintage, Day Wines is a producer of boutique, artisanal bottlings made from fruit sourced exclusively from a small group of Oregon growers who utilize Biodynamic, Organic and/or Sustainable vineyard practices.

The first vintage of 'Lemonade' was born from the desire to make something from a bad situation (lemonade from lemons) during the 2020 wildfires in Oregon. Salvaging early harvested Pinot Noir grapes to make her first batch, 'Lemonade' has become one of Brianne's most popular wines, and she is now on her 5th vintage of this wine.

We hope you come grab a bottle and enjoy this thirst-quenching rosé on a beautiful sunny day.
