2019 Loscano Vineyards Grand Reserve Malbec Valle de Uco Mendoza

2019 Loscano Vineyards Grand Reserve Malbec, from Uco Valley in Mendoza is fabulous bottle of wine from Argentina. Bold aromas of plums, cassis, currants are followed by nuances of black tea and floral notes. The mouthfeel is rich and layered showing plums, blackberries, cherries wrapped around a core of plush tannins. In moments, this wine reminded me of a sleek Oakville Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (costing triple the price!) instead of a Malbec from Argentina.
