Our Wine of the Week, Luzon Organic Monastrell!

Our Wine of the Week selection, Luzon Organic Monastrell, is produced with organic grapes from Jumilla, south-eastern Spain, in the Murcia province, enjoying a strong influence from the Mediterranean Sea, warm days and cool nights. As we are getting more requests for low sulfite wines, Luzon Monastrell has NO sulfites added in the production process.

 

This is a fresh, fruity, and flavorsome wine with a ruby color, red berry fruit, and spices. This wine pairs well with roasted meats or vegetables, rice and pasta dishes, as well as semi-aged cheeses.

 

We like this wine because of its great value, no added sulfites, and food pairing versatility. Monastrell is an excellent choice; it is bold and juicy without being overly tannic, a great addition to your meal choices and for weekend sipping.
