Our Favorite White Wine for Summer Meals!

The wines of Mas Carlot have become favorites amongst the staff at Bevy's Liquor World. Winemaker Cyril Marès continues a family tradition of seven generations. After graduating from Montpellier with degrees in Agronomy, Viticulture and Oenology, he spent time at incredible wineries such as Chalone Vineyard in Monterey, California and Chateau Margaux in the Haut-Médoc district of Bordeaux, France. 

2021 Mas Carlot Générations Blanc is from Costières de Nîmes, a beautifully pebbly area in the southern Rhône Valley of France. 50% Roussane, 40% Marsanne and 10% Viognier. Aromas of apricots, pears, lemon marmalade and a nuance of brioche bread. The mouthfeel mirrors this perfectly, with a focused purity of fruit and structure on the wonderful finish. Perfect for the "anything but Chardonnay" crowd. This is a rich wine that would pair well with a delicious meal on a summer evening.
