Michael’s Pick for the Ultimate Mother’s Day Wine!

This is my pick for the ultimate Mother's Day wine.  Premiere Napa Valley wines tell the stories of the soils, microclimates and remarkable personalities, which make up the mosaic of Napa Valley. They represent the quality and innovation for which America's leading wine region has become known and are among the world's rarest wines.

We bid on Lot #35, 60 bottles of 2019 Elizabeth Spencer Chardonnay from Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley.  The bouquet shows lemon curd, peach coulis, white floral notes, pineapple and a nuance of spice notes from the neutral French oak barrel. The mouthfeel is luscious, full-bodied and complex, perfectly mirroring the bouquet. Very food friendly, and perfect for halibut, lobster or roast chicken. Very limited quantity available.
