When & Where "Weekends Away" Cabernet Sauvignon "The Kids Are Finally Asleep" Chardonnay

For our Wine(s) of the Week, we are travelling to South Australia, specifically the Riverland region. When & Where is a family-owned winery focusing on pure, simple wine expressions utilizing organic fruit. We love them because they make great table wines suitable for a wide range of cuisine. They also are fresh, fruity and interesting enough to drink by themselves without spending all of your money!

"The Kids Are Finally Asleep" Chardonnay is incredibly vibrant, with notes of tart apple and pear. The wine is unoaked, allowing some lighter citrus notes to shine, and making it a perfect pair for sushi, oysters or a spring greens salad. The "Weekends Away" Cabernet is also unoaked, with loads of fresh berry notes and a slightly lighter style. Perfect for BBQ, burgers and all the grilled favorites. It has become a staff favorite because it is a more versatile, easy drinking style than most new-world cabernets for food pairing options. A great value.
